Eileen and I are in Gleason Library on our first afternoon of "mobile Rush
Rhees". Eileen selected some books from the popular reading collection and we put them on a book truck and we're in business. w00t! We brought a laptop and a scanner but the two wouldn't plug together, so we're using the low tech approach; we're writing down names and titles. So far we've had four people check out books - not bad for our first try. Eileen can go into sales if this librarian thing doesn't pan out.
P.S. We really stole this idea from MIT - a library with many great ideas!
P.P.S. Eastman student, Gregory, suggested the name "mobile Rush Rhees".
